Porsche tradition – emotion in motion:

The new exhibition at the Traumwerk

From January 12th 2026 to January 10th 2027, the Hans-Peter Porsche Traumwerk will present an extraordinary journey through the world of a brand that combines technology and emotion like no other. “Porsche Tradition – Emotion in Motion” shows how the car manufacturer has set milestones over decades – while at the same time boldly steering towards the future.

An experience that inspires

What makes Porsche a legend? This special exhibition provides the answer: it is a combination of precision engineering, visionary ideas and a passion that lives on across generations.

The Hans-Peter Porsche Salon unites timeless classics, famous racing cars and state-of-the-art electric models. This combination creates moments that you not only see, but also feel – a tour full of emotion, technology and inspiration. “When you look at vehicles from such different eras side by side, a dialogue emerges that shows that they are much more than just technology – they are carriers of emotion,” explains curator Christine Fekesa.

A journey through time

One of the centrepieces of the special exhibition is a showcase of selected milestones in Porsche’s history.

Among other things, visitors can see:

  • Porsche 356 Speedster – stylish, purist, unmistakable
  • Porsche Spyder 550 – a motorsport legend
  • Porsche Taycan – powerful electric mobility of the present

Each model represents a distinct era and demonstrates how tradition and innovation merge at Porsche. Accompanying model car display cases in various scales serve as a common thread throughout the design and technical evolution.

How history shapes the future

Porsche not only preserves its heritage – the company utilises it. Design principles, precision craftsmanship and a clear identity form the foundation on which the new is created.

The future is created where the past is understood and developed further. This fundamental attitude can be experienced at Traumwerk: visitors discover how much modernity there is in the historic models and how consistently Porsche develops innovation from experience.

The heartbeat of innovation

Emotion plays a central role in this exhibition. Every line, every engine and every thought behind the models tells of visionaries, bold decisions and moments when passion took shape. At Porsche, tradition does not mean looking back, but rather looking ahead: it is the basis on which new things are created – without losing sight of the essentials.

Constant change: changing themes throughout the year

A unique feature of this special exhibition is its dynamism. The vehicles on display change several times throughout the year, constantly creating new perspectives. At the start, the focus is on pairs of vehicles that showcase technical developments.

Later, other thematic focal points will follow, such as:

  • Porsche 356 – the origin of a design icon
  • Targa Florio – one of the most legendary chapters in motorsport history

Revisiting the exhibition again and again is worthwile, as it remains lively and surprising. It appeals to design lovers, technology enthusiasts, collectors and families alike. Here, you will encounter not only vehicles, but also stories – and an atmosphere that arouses curiosity. “All of the vehicles come from Hans-Peter Porsche’s private collection. This allows us to change the exhibition several times throughout the year. Each phase tells a new chapter,” emphasises Fekesa.

Those who love Porsche will find deep insights here. Those who want to really get to know Porsche for the first time will discover a world full of details, decisions and milestones. And those who are familiar with the Traumwerk will experience the Hans-Peter Porsche Salon in a completely new light. For a whole year, this exhibition invites visitors to discover history and the future at the same time.

And one thing is certain: it will keep moving.
