This legendary vehicle is characterised by its innovative flat box frame made of tubular steel that weighs just 59 kg. Upon this frame sits an elegant lightweight metal body weighing in at just 90 kg.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h2>Porsche 356<\/h2>\n<div>\n<p>The start of the Porsche legend: the very first Porsche, prototype 356\/1, was a visionary mid-engine roadster. Ferry Porsche, the creative mind behind it, uttered the inspiring words: \u201cWhen I couldn\u2019t find my dream car, I decided to create it myself.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This dream took shape with the Porsche 356 production model equipped with a modified frame and rear engine.<\/p>\n<p>The first 50 cars with their characteristic aluminium body were carefully handcrafted in Gm\u00fcnd, Austria, in the period after the Second World War.
